What is an AFFINImeter Basic Plan?

A basic plan is recommended for beginners and experienced ITC users working with systems that follow conventional stoichiometric binding models, this plan comes with a list of predefined models ready to apply to the set of data for analysis. Easier and faster than using conventional software. It also includes KinITC, a new method to obtain kinetic information from ITC data. With one single titration experiment it calculates rate constants (kon and koff) and thermodynamic data (KD and DH) of 1:1 interactions.

Included models: 1:1 binding, dissociation of dimers and trimers and competitive binding of two ligands in direct and reverse formats. Data fitting to an independent sites approach is also included.

An AFFINImeter Advanced plan is recommended for beginners and experienced ITC users working with complex systems that don´t fit to conventional binding models. This plan includes the predefined models described in the basic plan and also it offers the user the possibility to design tailored binding models in an easy and straightforward way. The advanced plan includes the possibility to perform global fitting. This features are unique to AFFINImeter. It also includes KinITC, a new method to obtain kinetic information from ITC data. With one single titration experiment it calculates rate constants (kon and koff) and thermodynamic data (KD and DH) of 1:1 interactions.
